EV manufacturers were keen to show off their latest models at the Geneva Motor Show this month.

There were impressive world debuts from Audi, Chevrolet, Volkswagen and Peugeot-Citroen and a European first for Lexus, amongst many others.

The Infiniti LE concept was also at the show, offering wireless charging, 100% luxury and zero emissions.  Its 2014 release is eagerly anticipated.

Toyota’s new i-ROAD personal mobility vehicle (PMV) made its world debut, offering ultimate flexibility for city driving. Seating two in tandem and under cover, i-ROAD offers quick acceleration and almost silent running. It has a range of 30 miles, after which the battery can be fully recharged from a conventional domestic power supply in three hours.

Citroën presented a C3 powered by a full-hybrid solution combining a petrol engine, compressed air and hydraulic power for exceptional fuel economy.
